LGBT Resource Center Advisory Board

The Cornell University LGBT Resource Center Advisory Board is composed of faculty, staff and students. They represent the primary constituents of the LGBT Resource Center and its programs. Faculty and staff membership is by individual appointment. Undergraduate and graduate student participation is through selection from the various groups and organizations on campus, or through personal interest.

The board meets on an as needed basis. The Advisory Board provides strategic and long term visioning for the LGBT Resource Center through an open dialogue regarding complex questions facing the LGBT community. The Advisory Board also reviews reports from staff and interns, and reflects on prior events and programs.

Advisory Board Members have two primary roles. The first is to be an ambassador for the Cornell LGBT Resource Center in all aspects of the member's University life and in the broader Ithaca community. The second is to provide input and vision regarding the long-term, strategic plans of the LGBT Resource Center.

Advisory Board members are also expected to attend a number of events of the LGBT Resource Center, as the member's schedule allows.
