Walk-In hours are Monday-Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, though the office is normally open from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. If you can't make the Walk-In hours, but want to be sure to meet with someone, please email or call us (607) 255-2310 to schedule an appointment.
It is your landlord’s responsibility to make sure you have adequate heat and running water. It is your responsibility, as the tenant to notify your landlord immediately of any issues.
Per the New York State Tenants Rights Guide: Heat must be supplied from October 1 (September 15 in the City of Ithaca) through May 31 to tenants in multiple dwellings. If the outdoor temperature falls below 55°F between the hours of six a.m. and ten p.m., each apartment must be heated to a temperature of at least 68°F. If the outdoor temperature falls below 40°F between the hours of ten p.m. and six a.m., each apartment must be heated to a temperature of at least 55°F.
