Celebrate Diversity. Eplore Community. Stretch your Comfort Zone. Speak your Voice. Tapestry of Possibilities: Diversity at Cornell is an orientation program for all First-Year and Transfer stdents aimed at supporting and enhancing a diverse community in which all members feel welcomed, respected, and honored. The program features Ordinary People, a student theatre troupe dedicated to raising awareness about issues of oppression. The interactive performance aim to stimulate the sense by presenting real-life scenarios and language, and to turn those feelings into motivation for action. Performances are followed by moderated discussions about inclusiveness and combating oppression at Cornell and beyond, led by Cornell University faculty and senior administrators.
